As President of the Frantz Fanon Foundation, 1 wish to express my appreciation for thekey role played by Egypt in mediating the prisoner exchange between the government ofIsrael and the Hamas government in Gaza. 1 request that the Egyptian governmentstresses to the government of Israël the importance of including Mr.Ameer Makhoul in the 550 Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release next month.
